The Edinburgh scale is a limited document that helps pediatricians and OB/GYNs determine if a
mama is struggling with postpartum anxiety or depression. This scale is limited and not culturally competent. We are working on providing all of our mamas with a scale that takes your culture and history into account. With that said, this is what is available for mamas now. You should receive this at every postpartum visit with the pediatrician or with your OB/GYN. If you do not receive this scale, please let us know in the comments section.
